Today I have reached 27 weeks in this pregnancy-- I also realized it is about time for a photo dump of the pregnancy photos I have been storing on my phone.  So here you have it---

Calendar

While unemployed I am trying to do crafts at home with supplies we have on hand--- this week I made us a functional calendar to hang in the kitchen.  We need something pretty to keep track of our crazy plans.

Lemoncello

The best part of summer and Kenny's birthday is making this drink--- unfortunately this summer I can't partake in any but at least posting this entry will remind me to make it again once I can drink. : )

The goods--- a huge bag of lemons from Costco

and a bottle of Everclear

Peel lemons--- which takes forever.

Add everclear to lemon peels-- store in a glass or steel bowl and store for a week in a cool dry place.

Finished product-- and already almost finished bottle this stuff is too good.

Not pictures is the boiling of simple sugar syrup, the removal of peels, addition of the syrup to the everclear and then the storing of the drink in the freezer. I used this recipe to make mine.
